Wrap up a blessing for children in need! Please consider supporting one of the toy drives we are hosting this month.

Help Atlanta’s Homeless Children
We invite you to help make the wishes of local homeless children come true this Christmas! Skyland hopes to “fill the stockings” of five children served by Children’s Restoration Network (CRN), and here’s how you can help:

  1. Select an ornament from our stocking in the Holy Grounds area. Each child’s ornament will have their age, gender, clothing and shoe sizes, 2 items they wish to receive and 2-3 items they need.
  2. Print your name on the signup sheet next to the stocking.
  3. Donate with friends to make sure your child receives all 4-5 gifts listed. We highly encourage Sunday School classes to consider adopting a child for Christmas.
  4. Purchase ALL items listed on your ornament.
  5. Label all gift items with the child’s CRN ID number and enclose in a gift bag. Do not wrap!
  6. Drop off gift bags in the box located in Holy Grounds BY DECEMBER 13.

If you wish to donate shelter supplies in lieu of child sponsorship, we’re collecting towels, laundry detergent, soap, paper towels, cleaning supplies and household supplies in the donation box as well. If you’d like to volunteer, CRN needs help at their annual Wrap Party, which runs Dec. 15-17 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day at 3965 John’s Creek Court, Suwanee, GA 30024. Skyland Toy Drive
We are collecting toys in the $10 price range for boys and girls ages 0-10 that will be distributed after the Children’s Christmas Play. Please place new, unwrapped toys in the box in the Narthex by DECEMBER 4. If you do not want to shop for toys, you can also donate money and we will buy the gifts for you. Thank you for your support! If you can help with setting up or staffing the toy giveaway on Dec. 10, please contact Margie Morgan at evangelism@skylandumc.org.
