Backpack Buddies. Help supply schoolchildren with food for the weekend! Each month we collect and pack individually packaged, non-perishable items for students at local elementary schools. Contact Eleanor Flanagan to sign up for a volunteer slot. Donations of food or funds are welcome (just $5 feeds a child for the whole weekend).

ESL. Help English as a Second Language students develop English skills by facilitating discussions and games. No Spanish ability is required, and new teachers are always welcome!

Easter Egg Hunt. Every year, families rush to Skyland’s front, back and side yards to participate in one of the largest Easter egg hunts in the neighborhood. Volunteers are needed to hide eggs, greet visitors, prepare food and plan children’s activities.

Blessings Yard Sale. Our community yard sale raises money for Missions and Evangelism projects. Help out by donating gently used housewares, furniture, tools and clothing, sorting donations and staffing the sale.
