Palm Sunday marks Jesus’ triumphal entry to Jerusalem the week before his arrest, trial and crucifixion. Crowds of people spread their cloaks and palm branches on the road to honor Jesus as he entered the city. Celebrate with us at 9 a.m. for a traditional service or 11 a.m. for a contemporary service featuring a palm processional. Wave palm branches with us as we worship Jesus, the one who comes to save us all!
A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of [Jesus] and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!” (Matthew 21:8-9)
