The tomb is empty. Christ is alive! Today we celebrate Jesus’ triumph over sin and death. Join us for a sunrise service at 7 a.m. on the lawn, followed by a light continental breakfast and coffee. At 11 a.m., celebrate the life and resurrection of Christ at an Easter service featuring traditional and contemporary worship in both English and Spanish. We will also be honoring this day with a “flowering cross” at the front of our sanctuary. If you’d like to contribute, please bring flowers to the Narthex by 10:45 a.m. to place on the cross.
As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here.” (Mark 16:5-6)
