1 Corinthians 11:23-33… Many church-goers enter into worship with their dial set on autopilot. Participation in Communion is no different. Paul, however, gives specific instructions and specific warnings about Communion. ”Whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. (1 Cor. 11:27)” How can we, who have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God, be anything but unworthy?
